With every referral you send to Pampered Paws and they book services with us, you will receive a free 30 minute visit.
What is a Meet & Greet?
A Meet and Greet is the first step to pet care service. Here you’ll meet your pet sitter and show them your pets’ routine, location of supplies and provide any additional relevant information about your home and pet.
To prepare for your Meet and Greet, log in to our online scheduling software and click on New Client and register. Once that is completed we will set up a meet & greet with you at your home, Free of charge.
How are Keys handled and how will you access my home?
The safety of your home and your pet(s) are our top priority. During the Meet and Greet you must provide us with (2) keys to your home. Keys are marked with your pet(s) names only. If you live in a gated community, you also must provide a gate card, gate remote or access codes. We will not access your home via the leasing office, calling you, or by receiving access through a concierge or a neighbor/friend.
Why do I need (2) sets of house keys?
We require two sets of house keys from all clients. One set of keys remains in the care of your primary pet sitter and the other set is kept in our office safe to be used in the case of a lock-out or emergency. Garage door codes & keyless locks don’t always work. We have been locked out of homes on numerous occasions because we didn’t have keys. Failure to provide 2 keys will incur a trip charge to make a copy for the office. If you don’t want us to retain your keys to your home, you must provide a lock box that is kept someplace outside of your home.
Is Pampered Paws Pet Sitting Bonded & Insured?
Yes we are through Pet Sitters Associates.
Do you work on holidays?
Yes, we work 7 days a week and 365 days of the year and we don’t charge extra to work on a holiday.
Does Pampered Paws Pet Sitting offer in-home boarding?
We do not. We aren’t a boarding facility. We are a mobile pet sitting service that comes to you.
How much notice do you need to schedule a pet sit or a dog walk?
We request a 48 hour notice but we are flexible to our regular weekly clients. If you aren’t a client yet, we request that you schedule as far in advance as possible.
Do you offer every other day cat sits?
We do not. For the safety and well-being of your pet we must visit everyday.
My neighbor offered to help out with visits, can you just do the late night visits?
Sorry we do not share visits with others that aren’t insured & bonded. Our liability insurance doesn’t cover anyone else but Pampered Paws Pet Sitting.
Will you leave our house key after your last visit?
Flights get delayed, vacations get extended at the last minute and emergencies can happen. These are all reasons why we DON’T leave your keys. Rest assured, all client keys are kept in a secured and locked location. We can leave your keys only if you provide a lock box (which can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot).
What forms of payment do you take?
Cash, Zelle, and Debit Card, MC, Visa, American Express
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Dog Walks/Let Outs – Must be canceled no later than 9pm the night before service or client will be billed in full for booked services.
Non Holiday Pet Sitting – 48 hour notice or client will be billed 1 full day of visits for booked services.
Holiday Pet Sitting – 7 day notice or client will be billed 50% of booked services. Included holidays: School Breaks (Winter, Spring, Fall), New Years Eve & Day, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day.
Overnights – require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your reservation, 7 day notice to cancel.
In the event of an early return from a trip No Refunds or Credits are given as we have reserved that time for your pet care and turned down other potential clients.
